Our world gets stranger everyday. We look for virtues and qualities like égalité and impartiality in our society, lifestyle, politics and religion, but we have found none. The hope for certainty that we so dream of having is mere illusion when, for certain, there will always exist variables that affect the end-point, which stays fixed yet lingers abstractly in our conceptual mind.

Sunday, July 10, 2011. 1,000 arrested in Malaysia democracy protest AFP. Fired tear gas and water cannon and made almost 1,000 arrests on Saturday during clashes with protesters who defied government warnings to rally in the capital for electoral reform. Some of the demonstrators fought back by picking up tear gas canisters which they lobbed at police, reporters said. Was injured during the protest.
